In your half, if you have a 1-0 lead, score quickly, and then let him grind out a slow score and take the 2-1 win. Once its late in the half, you will need to put a receiver into scoring position in case when he does make his move, he fails some dice and you can get the ball. Hopefully he will get impatient and make a mistake. You will need to use an elf screen to keep him from advancing more than 1 or 2 squares per turn, and keep him to ideally 1 block per turn (his blitz). With neither team having skills its a tough matchup.
